Our Mission
IOMig aims to help businesses migrate their legacy IT systems, data, and integrations into their new desired environment.
Focus on the new system and how you will leverage it for gain. Starting a new replacement system with all of the legacy data is a huge productivity gain and jumpstarts the ROI.
How We Got Started
After working 18 years in the semiconductor industry, I realized that business units were evolving around the legacy IT systems they were built upon (not the other way around). Born out of a frustration of continuously migrating IT systems, IOMig was conjured up to help organizations efficiently move to a better system and not get caught in an endless delay loop of technical problems ever again.
Formed in 2024, we leverage core design principles, with modern ML and AI technologies, while resolving your domain problems.
How We Operate
Each migration is unique.
When we begin the process of migrating your system, we respect the history and effort put into your legacy system and the benefit it may have had for your organization. Also, we evaluate the reasoning behind features and extensions and incorporate that into the migration.
IOMig works best when you have already identified the target system you would like to migrate to. Regardless, if that is a third-party vendor or in-house built solution. If you need help identifying a target system, we can help weigh the pros and cons with a focus on what your end use cases will be.
Conforming to the data security practices for your industry is paramount. IOMig prefers to run migration software on your infrastructure, under your control and security. However, in the case where large data volumes are required, we will work with your private cloud or provide a secure environment with full admin rights to your team.
IOMig can either work with your project management team or provide project management updates on a fixed periodic basis. Milestones and sprints are setup, but we try to minimize the overhead for our customers. Our goal is to provide complete visibility but avoid tedious email updates.
Clear quoting and service level agreements. IOMig understands that unforeseen system technicalities that did not come up during the workshop can happen. Going back to management to adjust the quote mid-process is always a burden. Having both a quote and budgetary quote prepared is essential to getting the effort dialed in, while protecting the customer’s bottom line.
